Berlin Capital Fund GmbH is a private equity company of Triginta Capital.
Since its foundation in 1983 by Berliner Sparkasse it supports new business founders and innovative companies, in particular from the Berlin-Brandenburg region, from the financing through to listing on the stock exchange. The fund focuses on the sectors of IT, telecommunication and life sciences as well as media, trade and commercial services. In the 20 years of its existence, the company has invested some 200 million euros in over 120 undertakings.
In March 2007 the Berlin Capital Fund GmbH was acquired by Triginta Capital in the framework of a secondary transaction. Under management of Triginta Capital the fund continues development of the portfolio.
